Android Device

Before Downloading To Your Android Device Ensure You Have A File Manager, Such As "Files By Google" App And A Plain Text Viewer Like "HTML Viewer" or Text Editor, Such As "Notepad" App, From The Google Play Store On Your Device. Android Devices Come With "HTML Viewer" As Standard.

The "Files" App Enables You To Download & Unzip The Song Pack, To Access The Files, & The"HTML Viewer", Allows You To Read Plain Text Files While The "Notepad" App, Allows You To Read, Edit & Save Plain Text Files.

The Following Is An Example of Using An Android Device To Download & Unzip A Freebie Song Pack.

Procedure:

• Navigate To The Freebie Song Pack, In The Song Pack Store, That You Wish To Download & Select

• A Screen Showing A Zip File Appears. Tap The Ellipsis Dots (3 Dots) Top Right of Screen & Scroll Down & Select <Open With>, After A Short Delay The Download Screen Appears

• Press The <Download Icon>, Above The File Screen, & Downloading Will Commence (Takes Approx. 20 secs, Just Wait)

• The Download Progress Screen Appears & When Finished It Displays "Open" But, Don't Press

• Go To Your "Files" App & Select <Downloads> & Tap On The Orange <Zip File Name> You Downloaded

• The Unzip Screen Appears Showing The Files Included In The Zip File. Press <Extract> At The Bottom of Screen

• That's It All Done!

• The Unzipped Files Are Now In Your "Files" App Under Downloads

• You Can Now Go Back To The "Files" Downloads Folder & Delete The Zip File If You Wish To Save Space

• If You Tap On The Plain Text Document <Document Name.txt> You Will Be Asked What App To "Open with", Select <HTML Viewer>

• If You Wish To Read, Edit & Save The Document "Open with" The <Notepad> App

Example of Looping Using The "Loop Player" App On Android

• Open The "Loop Player" App & If This Is The First Time Using The App Select Search <Download>. A Screen Appears, Select <Open Audio> & Your Audio File List Appears. You Also Have The Option To Search Phone or Audio. Tap Phone & Select Download

• Tap on The Loop <File Name> & The Loop Player Is Ready To Go! Press Play & Jam Away!

iPhone Device

The Following Is An Example of Using An iPhone 5 To Download A Freebie Song Pack & Play Loops. You Don't Have To Unzip Anything, Just Select Where You Wish To Store The Download.

I Use The "Files" App, Standard With The iPhone or, Downloaded From The App Store. You May Have Something Similar.

Procedure:

• Navigate To The Freebie Song Pack You Wish To Download. The Download Process Will Commence, Wait About 15 secs And The File Preview Screen Will Appear. The Delay Is Google Scanning The File For Viruses. If "Unable To Preview" Message Appears, Just Tap Download Then, Download Anyway

• Press The Download < Icon > At The Top of The Screen

• The Zip File Will Download, Takes About 15 secs, Just Wait :)

• On Downloading, A Screen Showing The Zip File Is Displayed. Press The < Open In Files > Icon or, Choose Your Loop Player App Such As "Loopy HD". In This Example I Chose "Open In Files" So I Can Read The Loop Text Document

• On The Next Screen, Select Where You Want To Store The File, In This Example, < On My iPhone >, Options Will Appear, Make A Selection, In My Case , < My Vodaphone > Press < Add >, At The Top Right of Screen. Alternatively, If You Have Cloud Storage, You Can Store It There

• The Zip File Is Now Added To Your "Files" App Folder & Accessible Anytime!

• All Done!!

• The File Is Now Shown. Note That The Number of Files In The Pack Is Shown, As Well As, The Total Pack File Size

• Tap < Preview Content > And The First File Will Be Shown. This Will Always Be The Loop Construct Text

• To Access The Other Files, Tap The < Pages Icon > At The Bottom Right of Screen, A List of All The Files Is Shown. Alternatively, Just Swipe Left For The Next Page

• Tap On Any File To Either Read or Listen To The Tracks

Example of Looping Using The "Loopy HD" App

The "Loopy HD" App, Available In The App Store For A Very Small Price, Is A Great App To Play Any of The Busk'n Servant Songs & Loops on Your iPhone.

Here's How To Import Your Files Into The "Loopy HD Library" After Following The Above:

• Open The "Files" App And Press <Select> Top Right of Screen And Select The File You Want To Import To The "Loopy HD Library"

• At The Bottom Left of Screen Press The <Share> Icon, "Up Arrow", The Share Screen Appears

• Press <Save to Files> Icon. On The Next Screen You Are Now Asked Where?

• Select <Loopy HD> Then Press <Add> Top Right of Screen

• That's It, All Done!!

• Your File Will Automatically Un Zip And Appear In The "Loopy HD Library" Under The Loop's File Name

• If You Downloaded & Saved The Files To "Loopy HD" Instead of "Files" In The First Instance, Then Disregard The Above. Note, You Won't Be Able To Read The Text Documents In "Loopy HD" Thou!

How To Play Your Loops In "Loopy HD"

Here's How To Play Your Song & Loops:

• Open The "Loopy HD" App

• Press AND Hold One of The Round <Track Buttons> Say, Track #1

• Options Appear On The Button. Select <Import>

• The "Loopy HD Library" Appears With All Your Songs & Loops. To Preview A Track Press The <Arrow> On The Right of The Track Name

• To Add A Loop Track To The Play Screen, Press <Track Name>

• "Loopy HD" Will Automatically Go Back To The Play Screen & Loop Your Track or Song

• To Stop A Track Press <Track> Button or, Stop All Tracks, The <Pause> Button At The Bottom of The Screen

• Note, That If You Have A Track Already In The Play Screen Then You Should Clear It First, As The Imported Loop Will Play At That Track's Tempo , Not The Recorded Tempo!

• To Clear The Play Screen, Shake Your Phone Then Select <Clear Session> or, Go To The Session Menu & Clear

• You Can Also Record On Another Track, Add Beats, Do Whatever You Like!

• You Can Import Into Track #1 The Full Band Loop Then, Import Into Track #2 Your Minus "Instrument" Loop. Now Start Both Playing. You Can Listen To Track #1, To Get The Idea Then, Stop Track #1 And Take Over Playing That Instrument!

• Plug Your Device's Earphone Socket To Your Amp & Jam Away!

• Note: You May Wish To Go To "Loopy HD Settings" And Turn Off "Monitoring", So As Not To Hear Ambient Noise From Your Surroundings.
